Bar/Bat Mitzvah Seating Questions
How do I separate maternal and paternal family sides?
Tag each guest as maternal or paternal at import. The visual layout shows both sides clearly, so grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins end up on the right side of the room.
Where should I seat grandparents and honored guests?
Put grandparents at tables near the bimah or head table with clean sightlines. Reserve the closest tables for great-grandparents, the rabbi, and any other honored guests.
How should I organize the teen and kids tables?
Separate teen tables (13-17) and kids tables (under 13), grouped by friend circles. Put teen tables near the dance floor for energy, but keep a parent table in sight. Kids tables do best near the bathrooms and away from speakers.
Can I include Hebrew names on the seating chart?
Yes. Add Hebrew names in the guest notes at import. Place cards and programs can export with both English and Hebrew names.
What if we have last-minute RSVPs or cancellations?
Add or remove guests with one click, right up to event day. Drag them to tables with open seats. If you've shared a live link with your caterer or coordinator, they see changes instantly.
