Bar/Bat Mitzvah Seating Questions
How do I separate maternal and paternal family sides?
Tag each guest as maternal or paternal family during import. The visual layout shows both sides clearly and helps you seat grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins respectfully on the right side.
Where should I seat grandparents and honoured guests?
Put grandparents at tables near the bimah or top table with clear sightlines. Reserve the tables closest to the family for great-grandparents, rabbis, and other honoured guests.
How should I organise the teen and kids tables?
Set up separate teen tables (13-17) and kids tables (under 13) grouped by friend circles. Put teen tables near the dance floor for the atmosphere, but within parent sightlines. Kids tables work best near the loos and away from the speakers.
Can I include Hebrew names on the seating chart?
Add Hebrew names in guest notes during import. When you export PDFs for place cards or programmes, you can include both English and Hebrew names to honour tradition.
What if we have last-minute RSVPs or cancellations?
Add or remove guests with one click right up to the day of the event. Drag them to any table with spare seats. If you've shared a live link with your caterer or event coordinator, they'll see the changes straight away.
