Bar/Bat Mitzvah Seating Questions
How do I separate maternal and paternal family sides?
Tag each guest as maternal or paternal during import. The visual layout shows both sides clearly so you can seat grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins on their respective sides.
Where should I seat grandparents and honoured guests?
Grandparents go at tables near the bimah or top table with clear sight lines. Reserve the closest tables for great-grandparents, rabbis, and other honoured guests.
How should I organise the teen and kids tables?
Separate teen tables (13-17) and kids tables (under 13), grouped by friend circles. Teen tables near the dance floor for the energy, but within parent line of sight. Kids tables work best near the bathrooms and away from the speakers.
Can I include Hebrew names on the seating plan?
Add Hebrew names in guest notes during import. When you export PDFs for place cards or programs, you can include both English and Hebrew names.
What if we have last-minute RSVPs or cancellations?
Add or remove guests with one click, right up to the day. Drag them to tables with available seats. If you've shared a live link with your caterer or event coordinator, they see changes as you make them.
